Welcome to Korskyrkan in Borås, Sweden

Korskyrkan is a place for those seeking fellowship with God, who long for a meaningful life and have a desire to be linked to a fellowship of believers. It is possible to meet the living God through His Son, Jesus, and once you've met Him life is not the same! You are welcome whether you have grown up a Christian family, become a Christian later in life or are just exploring Christianity.

We strive to be a spiritual home and meeting place for people in and around Borås. Our gatherings are open to visitors and we hope you will feel at home whether you are a regular churchgoer or not.

Our community is made up of young and old, families with small kids, teenagers and singles. We have about 280 members of all ages who meet in the church and in fellowship groups in homes.

We are located centrally in Borås, in the neighborhood Norrby, right behind the train station. Send us an email if you need directions.

We are affiliated with Evangeliska frikyrkan (Interact), one of Sweden's Baptist denominations. We cooperate with other churches in town in a variety of projects, especially our youth ministry.

Our services are held primarily on Sunday mornings. Would you like to celebrate Communion? You are invited to join us on the first Sunday of the month. If there are needs that you would like prayer for, there are elders who would be happy to pray with/for you following the service. We offer "ALPHA-classes" for those who want to know more about the faith. The evening starts with a meal together, then a short talk and finally discussion in smaller groups. We also have fellowship groups that meet in homes.

Pensioners have regular gatherings the first Tuesday of the month.

Kids have their own church service, HimlaKul, on Sundays and "Draget", a youth group for elementary aged kids that meets on Friday evenings. School kids are invited to camps, usually a ski camp in February and "HABO", during the Easter break. "Open PreSchool" meets on Thursday mornings. 8th graders are invited to attend confirmation classes on Thursday evenings. Our teens gather on Friday evenings (EttÅtti) - and whenever they can find a good excuse!

English translation is not currently available at our services but our community includes English speakers living in Sweden so by all means come visit! Just let us know if you need translation and we will see if it can be arranged.
